Terms of Service

Znaak ("Znaak," "we," "us," or "our") is a design approval platform operated by Vlado Spasov, a sole proprietor based in Skopje, North Macedonia, doing business as Znaak. Znaak is accessible at znaak.app.

By creating an account, accessing, or using Znaak (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Znaak allows designers to upload design work, invite reviewers via secure, tokenized links (no account required for reviewers), collect feedback, and receive a Certificate of Approval documenting the review and approval process for a given project version.

A note on the Certificate of Approval: The Certificate is a timestamped record of who reviewed and approved a given project version, and when. It is evidence of an internal approval process and audit trail — it is not a legal opinion, warranty, or guarantee of any kind regarding the underlying design work, its fitness for any purpose, or the legal enforceability of any agreement between you and your own clients or collaborators. You are responsible for determining whether the Certificate meets your own legal, contractual, or compliance needs, including seeking independent legal advice where appropriate.

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Reviewers accessing a project via a tokenized link do not need to create an account. Access is scoped to the specific project version the link was generated for.
• You must notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.

Znaak offers the following plans, described in full on our Pricing page:

• Free — limited number of projects
• Pro — paid monthly or annual subscription, expanded project limit
• Studio — paid monthly or annual subscription, unlimited projects, multi-designer support
• Flex Pack — a paid add-on providing additional project slots

Prices are listed in USD unless otherwise stated and may be changed with reasonable prior notice. Changes will not affect a billing period you have already paid for.

Payment processing. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller, Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders and provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle.com Market Limited, a company incorporated in England and Wales, acts as our authorized reseller and merchant of record for all purchases made through the Service. Paddle handles payment collection, sales tax/VAT, invoicing, and refunds on our behalf. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. See our Refund Policy for cancellation and refund terms.

• You retain all ownership rights to the designs, files, images, and other materials you upload to Znaak ("Your Content").
• You grant Znaak a limited license to host, store, display, and transmit Your Content solely for the purpose of operating the Service (e.g., displaying it to reviewers you invite).
• You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload and share Your Content, and that doing so does not infringe on any third party's rights.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload unlawful, infringing, or fraudulent content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts, projects, or data
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service's infrastructure
• Use tokenized reviewer links for any purpose other than legitimate project review

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

• You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time via the account deletion flow in your settings.
• We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms.
• Upon termination, your right to access the Service ends, though certain provisions (ownership, liability, governing law) survive.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times. We make no warranty regarding the accuracy, completeness, or legal effect of any Certificate of Approval, comment thread, or other record generated by the Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Znaak's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost data.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you (e.g., by email or in-app notice). Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of North Macedonia, without regard to conflict of law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence provide otherwise.
